Why wait to tie the knot?

There are a number of reasons why you may need to put your wedding on fast-forward, or maybe you just don't want a long engagement! It can be daunting to plan your wedding in such a short time, but we promise that it can be done.

There are many benefits to organising your big day quickly. We'll let you know a few reasons why below, with personal tips from our Marketing Executive, Kacey, who planned hers in just 10 weeks.

Cheaper venue hire

Wedding venues book up years in advance, but can often have dates to fill in the near future. This means that you can get some cracking deals, last minute discounts and extra freebies as incentives. Win win!

Discounted dresses

Most bridal boutiques have 'ready to wear' sample dresses. This means that there is no ordering and waiting required. Simply choose your gown, arrange alterations and it's ready for the big day. These dresses are usually cheaper too, as they're used as samples for many future brides. Bag yourself a bargain.

Flower choices

Flowers make up a big part of the day. They are used to compliment outfits, colour schemes and moods. It can be stressful to make your choices! However, the time restrictions of a quick engagement can help to make this a little easier, as fresh flowers are seasonal. This means that your choice is just that much slimmer. Hey, ho, silver linings!

Less stationery to write!

If you book your special day with less than a year to go, you may choose to bin 'save the dates' and just proceed with official invitations. This can save masses of time with a pen, and save some staggering costs too.

Suppliers

Many suppliers will work in the sane way as venues, and will be looking to book up those empty slots. Extra savings are to be had, and even the top suppliers may still have availability, especially if you have opted for a winter wedding.

We hope you have a great time planning your big day, and get in touch with us if you need any help!
