Training NewsAuthorised Persons (Medical Gas Pipeline Systems) Eng Tech registration – only available from Eastwood Park | Feb 2010 Eastwood Park Training is the first to be able to offer Engineering Technician (Eng Tech) registration as part of its Authorised Persons (Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS)) courses.
Steve Dickson, Eastwood Park Training’s Learning and Development Manager (Engineering & FM) confirmed that delegates attending AP (MGPS) courses are eligible for Eng Tech registration, following completion of the course to the appropriate standard, satisfactory completion of a competency form and membership of a professional engineering institute, such as IHEEM (The Institute of Healthcare Engineering & Estate Management). Steve Dickson commented: “We have been working closely with IHEEM and are delighted to be able to provide a seamless and straight forward process to Eng Tech registration for our delegates as this really enhances their career opportunities.” “Aside from personal achievement and recognition of a delegate’s expertise and hard work, being able to add Eng Tech registration to their qualifications opens up a number of opportunities, such as increasing earning potential and also providing greater influence within their organisation and industry. Registration at Eng Tech level may be seen as the first step through Incorporated Engineer to Chartered Engineer.” Eastwood Park Training, is currently the only training provider to have been accredited by IHEEM and able to offer Eng Tech accreditations for Authorised Persons, so to sign up for the next AP (MGPS) courses visit: |
