Eastwood Park achieves recognition – not once but twice
Nov 09

Eastwood Park, an established training provider, based in Falfield, South Gloucestershire, is delighted to announce it has recently been presented with two awards. Not only has the company been recognised with the quality award - the matrix Standard - but it has also been awarded with Beacon status, firmly placing Eastwood Park among the top performing companies in the South West.
Funded by the South West of England Regional Development Agency, Beacon status is given to those companies who can demonstrate outstanding achievement across a range of criteria, including productivity and performance, profitability, work culture and innovation.
The matrix Standard is a specific national benchmark for any organisation that delivers information, advice and or guidance on learning and work. It is based on achieving excellent end-results that anyone working or visiting Eastwood Park will consistently hear, see and experience. It is about continuous quality improvement.
John Thatcher, CEO and Training Director at Eastwood Park is delighted with the news: “It is a significant achievement for us to be recognised with two top awards and is a tremendous endorsement for the company and all staff to have external experts recognise what is on offer here. It is also particularly gratifying to achieve these awards in a year when we are celebrating 40 years of delivering healthcare, engineering and facilities management training.”
Eastwood Park was a former NHS training and conference centre, however, today it is privately owned and delivers specialist technical healthcare, engineering and facilities management training to the public and private sectors, as well as operating a thriving weddings and conference business.
