Training NewsFirst Proms at the Park success | Sep 08  Over 300 visitors attended Eastwood Park’s first ever Proms at the Park this summer. For once the rain held off and the sun shone. Many relaxed on the lawns and enjoyed the music of the Dursley Male Voice Choir; the Bristol Wind Orchestra; the Wotton under Edge Silver band and the Prohibition Jazz band. Visitors browsed among the many stalls while others just soaked up the atmosphere and enjoyed the odd ice-cream or strawberries and pimms! Eastwood Park waitress, Lindsey Hall, also led others in a charity firewalk to raise funds for two local charities.
