Top marks for local venue – Eastwood Park | Aug 08

Eastwood Park has achieved recognition on two counts this month with two new awards – an “AIM” accreditation and five out of five for its Food Hygiene Star Rating.

The conference, training and weddings venue in Falfield, South Gloucestershire was awarded the “AIM” accreditation by the Meetings Industry Association (MIA) – the UK and Ireland’s leading professional organisation for the meetings industry. The venue had to meet stiff criteria and a stringent quality assurance assessment.

Also with the venue receiving maximum stars for its cleanliness and hygiene rating from South Gloucestershire Council inspectors, this is further independent recognition that Eastwood Park delivers its services to a very high standard and has exceeded the demanding assessments laid down by both organisations. Star ratings from zero to five are awarded following inspections by South Gloucestershire Council food and health team.

Peter Jordan, General Manager of Eastwood Park commented:  “We are all delighted to receive these awards.  It is always good for our customers, delegates and staff to see the independent recognition a venue such as ours receives.  It is a demonstration of the high standard and quality of service we offer.”

After a very successful Proms in the Park event in July, Eastwood Park will be the venue for a Blues Brothers Tribute Band, Bloggs Brothers, on Friday 26 September 2008.
