New General Manager to lead development at Eastwood Park | Sep 07

Eastwood Park - the renowned national training and conference centre in Falfield - has a new General Manager.

Peter Jordan has moved from the Centurion Hotel in Midsomer Norton (near Bath) to lead a significant development programme over the coming 12 months in this beautiful South Gloucestershire venue. Established as a first class training and conference centre for many years the management team now wants to further maximise the use of the facilities and increase the number of weddings, corporate events and private functions held at this 200-acre country estate.

Peter’s previous experience as Director of the Hotel and Leisure Club at the Centurion where he helped develop the conference, wedding and banqueting services as well as build a Fitness Centre and restaurant will stand him in good stead to take on a similar role at Eastwood Park.

Eastwood Park has already just completed a significant refurbishment of its bedrooms in the Garden Wing of the country house. Commented Peter Jordan: “Eastwood Park offers a fantastic Victorian country house set in wonderful grounds. The refurbishment of the Garden Wing is the first in a number of planned changes and allows us to move away from the more traditional “study-style” bedrooms. The rooms are brighter, the décor soft and light. It is good to be a part of Eastwood Park during this exciting period of change - it must be one of the best kept secrets in South Gloucestershire!”

Eastwood Park offers significant capacity as a local venue, with 69 bedrooms, 8 training rooms and 200 free parking spaces. For further information about Eastwood Park visit www.eastwoodpark.co.uk or call +44 (01454) 262 777 or email events@eastwoodpark.co.uk
