Potential funding for candidates wishing to undertake NVQ Level 3 in Decontamination with Eastwood Park |

We are IDSC's approved centre for the delivery of the NVQ level 3 in Decontamination and as such are working with many clients delivering this NVQ on a national basis.

We have been in discussions with various government organisations to access funding to support the delivery of the NVQ for our unique client group. We have been advised that funding could be accessed to those wishing to do their NVQ level 3 in Decontamination if they do not hold a level 2 or above qualification (NB TVQ does not count as a level 2 qualification - see below detail of the criteria).  Eastwood Park is a strong position to attract this funding  due to the following:

  • We are working with IDSc delivering this NVQ out on a national basis
  • We already have  large numbers of Decontamination NVQ candidates already registered with our centre
  • We already have a large occupationally competent delivery team
  • We already have candidates who have achieved their Level 3 NVQ in Decontamination
  • We have achieved Direct Claims Status  for the level 3 NVQ in Decontamination due the high standard of our delivery.
If you have any staff who meet the below criteria and you wish to access up to 100% funding for their NVQ LEVEL 3 IN DECONTAMINATION, then please contact us by 1st Aug 07 so that we can clarify potential numbers with the funding body.

1.       They must be employed in England (for those in Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland, I am dealing with your funding bodies directly, but still send me your details so that we can justify these separate bids)

2.       They must have less than 5 GCSE's at grades A-C

3.       They must not have achieved a level 2 or above NATIONALLY APPROVED qualifications such as an A level, Degree, full NVQ etc. NB the TVQ does not count as a level 2 national qualification as it is not an approved qualification within the National Qualifications Framework.

4.       Candidates need to be aged 18+, but there is NO UPPER LIMIT.

If you have any staff who meet these criteria and you wish to access up to 100% funding for them to do their NVQ LEVEL 3 IN DECONTAMINATION, then please contact us by 1st Aug 07 so that we can clarify potential numbers with the funding body.

We will need to know the following information:

  • Potential numbers of candidates who meet these entry requirements within your organisation
  • Age of these candidates (may determine the amount of funding we can attract and additional qualifications)
  • Name and location of   your organisation.
