Medical equipmentSCE - Servicing cardiovascular equipment Duration 3 days Introduction This course has been specifically designed to provide the underpinning knowledge and practical experience required for the National Occupational Standard in Servicing Cardiovascular Equipment. Accreditation The course is accredited at level 3 by EAL (EMTA Awards Ltd). Who will benefit? The course will provide an excellent foundation for medical engineering staff involved with the maintenance of cardiovascular equipment. As well as the cardiovascular equipment listed below, this programme covers the topics of electrical safety and equipment management common to all National Occupational Standards in the pathway. Aim To provide the underpinning knowledge required in order to safely and competently undertake servicing activities on a range of medical electronic cardiovascular equipment and to provide practical experience of direct relevance to the servicing of cardiovascular equipment.
