PAT - Portable appliance testing

The course is accredited by the City & Guilds of London Institute.  An assessment is carried out at the end of the course.

Who will benefit?
Staff undertaking and recording inspection and testing of electrical equipment.

The regulations cover approximately 20 million people at work.  Employers and employees have a duty to conform.  Portable appliance testing of equipment is of special importance due to the legal requirements and the safety of personnel.

Please note that it would be beneficial that delegates attending this course have a basic electrical knowledge.

Aim
This course is designed to give delegates thorough background knowledge in the field of Portable Appliance Testing based around the IEE Code of Practice and to bring an awareness of the scope and implications of the Electricity at Work Regulations.
