Heating, ventilation, air-conditioning & refrigerationFGAS - CITB safe handling of refrigerants / F-Gas certification Duration 5 days Introduction Under F-Gas regulations, the certification to handle refrigerant gases became mandatory as of July 2007. Special emphasis is placed on safety and the environmental aspects of refrigerants. Accreditation The course is accredited by CITB Construction Skills. It will enable the operative to safely handle refrigerant gases and is also an acceptable qualification for direct entry on the ACRIB register of competent personnel. Who will benefit? Engineers who require a fast track approach to be able to maintain and decommission refrigeration systems. Aim To explain the relevant principles of vapour compression refrigeration and to provide delegates with the practical skills to enable them to perform essential maintenance and fault-finding, and to gain the mandatory F-Gas certificate in refrigeration.
