Course is accredited by IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).  Delegates who complete the course successfully receive the IOSH Working Safely Certificate.

Who will benefit?
This course is suitable for all workers in any occupation.

Aim
This one-day course will raise the individual’s awareness of health and safety issues in the workplace.  Delegates will learn how to identify hazards and know what their responsibilities are in ensuring that they follow their organisation's health and safety policy and procedures, leading to a safer workplace.

Objectives
During the course, delegates will cover the following subjects:
  • Cause of accidents, safe and unsafe conditions
  • Recognition of hazards, risk and control
  • Fire and electricity
  • Display screen equipment
  • Manual handling
  • Health risks - chemicals and noise
