Any person whose work requires the use of ladders and trestles.

Aim
This course is designed to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills needed to safely use, maintain and inspect ladders.

Objectives
Delegates will acquire the skills and knowledge to:

• Select the correct ladders for the job at hand
• Have a good knowledge of using equipment safely.
• Be able to understand the importance of care maintenance and inspection for defects
• Demonstrate an understanding of a safe system
• Demonstrate an understanding of securing a ladder
• Demonstrate an understanding of safe use of ladders
• Demonstrate an understanding of care and maintenance
• Demonstrate an understanding of inspection for possible defects
• Demonstrate an understanding of ladder safety - theoretical test sheet
