Safety awareness when working at heights or on roofs | STS-SOR

Who will benefit?
Any person whose job involves working at height or on roofs.

Aim
To train those who in the course of their work are required to work at heights or on roofs.

Objectives
Delegates will acquire the skills and knowledge to:

• Recognise the dangers of working at heights or on roofs
• Know what steps to take to avoid identified dangers.
• Have an acceptable understanding of the hazards associated with the working at heights.
• Have an understanding of the related elements of the Health & Safety At Work.
• Have an understanding of related accidents, weather conditions affecting work, protecting others and company systems and working procedures

Accreditation
This course is not yet accredited; however delegates will be required to successfully  pass a theoretical test to demonstrate understanding of the learning before a completion certificate is issued.
