Quarterly testing of benchtop vacuum steam sterilizers to HTM guidance | STM4

Who will benefit?
National Health Service staff or contractors required to perform the duties of a Test Person as defined in current HTM Guidelines.

Aim
To enable delegates to carry out the recommended daily, weekly and quarterly testing procedures bench top vacuum steam sterilizers in accordance with current HTM guidance and obtain the City & Guilds of London Institute certificate (229508).

Objectives
Delegates will acquire the skills and knowledge to:

• Carry out periodic testing
• Complete test records and correctly interpret the results
• Calibrate and use appropriate test equipment

Accreditation
The course is accredited by the City & Guilds of London Institute

Other information
The successful completion of STM1 is a pre-requisite for attending this course. Please note: As soon as the new HTM 01 guidance is released, course delivery and certification will be transferred over.
