Annual testing and revalidation of large porous load sterilizers to HTM guidance | STM3

Who will benefit?
National Health Service staff or contractors required to perform the duties of a Test Person as defined in HTM 2010.

Aim
To enable delegates to carry out the recommended yearly and revalidation testing procedures on large* porous load sterilizers in accordance with HTM 2010 and obtain the City and Guilds of London Institute certificate 225913
* Large porous load sterilizers are those that can accommodation one or more rectangular boxes measuring 300 x 600mm of volume 54 litres.

Objectives
Delegates will acquire the skills and knowledge to:

• Conduct yearly/revalidation tests
• Interpret test results correctly
• Produce detailed reports

Accreditation
The course is accredited by the City & Guilds of London Institute

Other information
The successful completion of STM2 is a pre-requisite for attending this course.

What Next
On completion of this course the delegate will have gained the knowledge and skills to test large porous load sterilizers to a yearly/revalidation level. If not already achieved, delegates can attain the 'Diploma in Sterilizer Testing Technology' certicficate by attending and passing our STM1 and STM2 sterilizer testing courses, prior to the STM3.
