Swimming Pools (Hydrotherapy) and Disinfection of Building Water Systems | ENHP

Who will benefit?
All staff involved in the administration, maintenance and operational upkeep of the above pools.

Aim
To provide delegates with the current legal, technical and management skills necessary to operate pool facilities within health and safety restraints.

Objectives
Delegates will acquire the skills and knowledge to:
- Identify medical and moral obligations
- Explain legal implications
- List statutory and non-statutory requirements
- Describe water circulations
- Outline plant operations and maintenance
- Describe methods of water disinfection
- Discuss water quality; pH alkalinity, etc.
- Recognise water pollution
- Carry out water testing, sampling temperature, etc.
- Explain the role of ventilation
Accreditation
The course is accredited by the City & Guilds of London Institute.

Other Information
Course ENWS is recommended to be taken prior to this course. An assessment is carried out at the end of the course.
