Who will benefit?
Those who have been identified within their organisation as being responsible for legionella risk assessment and subsequent works and implications.

Aim
To enable delegates to understand and carry out the responsibilities of the 'Named Person' as defined in Health and Safety legislation.

Objectives
Delegates will acquire the skills and knowledge to:

  • Understand the responsibilities of the ‘named person’
  • Carry out the effective implementation of the legal requirement
  • List the requirements of water risk assessment
  • Employ and supervise consultants and contractors
  • Use ‘in house’ maintenance staff
  • Assess the efficiency of the system records
  • Assess sampling and record-keeping procedures

The course is accredited by the City & Guilds of London Institute.
