IOSH Working Safely | EMP-WS

Who will benefit?
This course is suitable for all workers in any occupation.

Aim
This one-day course will raise individuals awareness of health and safety issues in the workplace.  Delegates will learn how to identify hazards and know what their responsibilities are in ensuring that they follow their organisation's health and safety policy and procedures, leading to a safer workplace.

Objectives
Delegates will acquire the skills and knowledge to:

• Cause of accidents, safe and unsafe conditions
• Recognition of hazards, risk and control
• Fire and electricity.
• Display screen equipment.
• Manual handling.
• Health risks - chemicals and noise
• Work equipment and housekeeping
• Providing assistance in ensuring the success of an organisation's safety management system

Accreditation
Course is accredited by IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health).  Delegates who complete the course successfully receive the IOSH Working Safely Certificate.
