Medical Gas Pipeline Systems - Quality Controllers| EMGP

Who will benefit?
Those who intend to become Quality Controllers in a medical gas Permit to Work system or any Pharmacist, Chemist, Engineer or Technician with a need for medical gas and vacuum systems knowledge.

Aim

To develop an understanding of the role of a Quality Controller and to enable the participant to undertake the duties of a Quality Controller.



Objectives
Delegates will acquire the skills and knowledge to:
  • Identify the components of a Medical Gas Pipeline System
  • Carry out safely the testing duties of a QC as described in HTM 02
  • Identify possible hazardous situations and take (or recommend) appropriate remedial action
  • State the role of the QC in the Permit to Work (MGPS)

Accreditation
The course is accredited by BTEC and MOD.
