Who will benefit?
The course is intended for those who are involved with the procurement, drafting and administration of contracts and who require a basic understanding of contract law, an update on recent legal developments and warnings about proposed changes to the law.

Aim
To develop a basic understanding of contract law and keep existing knowledge up to date.

Objectives
Delegates will acquire the skills and knowledge to:

  • Understand basic principles of contract law including formation of contract, breach of contract and remedies
  • Review important statutes that impact construction contracts
  • Consider recent and forthcoming changes to the law
