Over the years we’ve hosted all manner of Christmas celebrations. As we approach that time of year again, here are some of our favourite Christmas memories of Eastwood Park – what are yours?
Santa coming to visit
We were very excited to have Santa pay Eastwood Park a pre-Christmas visit. Fortunately, we had a cosy, warm grotto ready and waiting for him, where he sat handing out presents to all the good children that came to say hello.
When it’s chilly outside, nothing warms you up like a festive afternoon tea. Delicious scones, chocolate yule log and turkey sandwiches are just a small sneak peek of what’s on offer.
Is there anything more Christmassy than carol singers? We invited local amateur dramatics group TMTG to come and entertain our guests – as well as carols, they brought a wonderful festive feeling to the house plus a whole range of seasonal headwear!
What would Christmas be without a party? Throughout December we hold regular party nights - everyone enjoys a delicious meal before dancing the night away.
Christmas is a time for spoiling your loved ones, so we gathered a whole host of local suppliers and held a Christmas Fair so you could do just that. There were chocolates, gingerbread men, Santa sacks and no shortage of Christmas jumpers!
Christmas lunch is one of our favourite parts of the big day, here at Eastwood Park we make it last all the way through December. Delicious food and beautiful views – partner this with great company and what more could you want?
Snow is falling
Who can forget the snow of last winter, which covered Eastwood Park in a white blanket. Hands up who thinks that we’ll get a white Christmas this year?
